Wildacres is a true retreat, undisturbed by traffic or noises of the city. The 1,600 acres are adjacent to North Carolina's Blue Ridge Parkway and thousands of acres of the Pisgah National Forest. The conference center facilties are modern yet rustic and provide a very comfortable setting for the programs offered.

Guests stay in two lodges, which supply 57 bedrooms in all. Each room has a private bathroom and accommodates two guests. There are no televisions or telephones in the rooms.

Three family style meals are served each day in the dining room.

Wildacres Retreat has a fully equipped lapidary workshop used by three different groups that come to the retreat for jewelry making workshops.

A 200-seat amphitheater, finished in 2003, provides a beautiful spot for meetings, gatherings, and campfires. The patio, located between the lodges, is an excellent location for group meetings and social functions. Both of these outdoor spaces have a lovely view of the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina.
