WILDACRES:

Those that attended the 2010 WildAcres Summer Workshop had a great time in the mountains.  The weather was beautiful with warm sunny days and cool evenings.

Participants  had fun learning new skills with Betty Helen Longhi in “Shell Forming” with Jean Stark in “ Loop in Loop Chains”, John Cogswell’s “Tiny Diminutive Teapots”, Juan Carlos Caballero Perez in “Bi Metal” and Zack Noble’s “Blacksmithing on a jewelry scale.

We had six days filled with good food, refreshments and a wonderful artistic experience we will all treasure for years to come.  Thank you to all the participants and volunteers for making our 2010 Wildacres Summer Workshop such a successful and memorable event.

Next year will be the West Coast Chapter’s  25th Summer Workshop at Wildacres .  The Wildacres Committee has already started planning a fabulous event.  Visit our web-site www.wcfsg.org  early in 2011 to see more details.
